We will open at 6 tonight for our "Employee" Christmas Party. Of course everyone is invited and the format is the same way it's been for the past forever years we have been doing this. Miss Sherrie is Bartending. 20 at the door and your good to go for wells and draws all night. Super G is strumming his guitar so bring a dish and come on out and party with us. I will give you the benefit of the doubt in that you were just in a drunken stupor and thought it might be funny, however it is not. You were caught on video surveillance and I am giving you 24 hours to return our property or we will turn over the video to the police and prosecuting attorney. It is never cool or funny to steal or damage someone else's property.

Thirsty Thursday with George!

This afternoon as I was driving around Nixa and I rough drafted this post in my head. It’s time to talk about how the rise of mega-chain restaurants are killing the diversity and flavor of the American dining experience. Everything is the same everywhere you go blah blah blah. We are fortunate to have some of the best and most entertaining independent restaurants (Indies as we are known in the industry) of any place I’ve ever lived. So support the Indies with your patronage. We don’t pay for Super Bowl ads and we don’t have CEO’s and CFO’s or a long list of employee perks. We are comprised of owners and employees who spend money we earn in our community. We have the same or better quality of food and often times as good or better prices than the big box places. In addition to Bumsteads, there are many other local Indies to eat, drink, listen to music and have a great time. Challengers up the road from us, Bair’s and even Megan at Wiseguys is cooking up some local flair. We love our customers, your patronage and your support. So the next time you want to spend your hard earned money on a quality experience above and beyond reaching out the window to pick up your lunch or dinner...we’ll be waiting for you.

So far we got bacon wrapped smoked turkey (watch for pics in the am) smoked turkey, tri-tip,stuffing, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes and gravy on the menu for tomorrow. Yummy! Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Have to give a shout out to the Christian County Sheriffs Deputies that helped me out tonight. Very professional and went above and beyond your job description. Nothing bad happened so please don't start rumors lol. Just a couple of nice guys doing a good job and felt they should be recognized. NFL Sunday Ticket so come watch your favorite team tomorrow.
